Preventive maintenance

All preventive maintenance activities are based on the guidelines of our research and development department with the goal of always preserving the technological efficiency of the systems and the best economic value.
GMM provides continuous software upgrades and the possibility to be further assisted by specialized technicians and application specialists.
Upon conclusion of the maintenance procedure, a check list is released to prove the correct performance of all mechanical and electronical parts.

Corrective maintenance

The corrective maintenance request can be easily forwarded through a variety of communication tools (phone, e-mail and online GMM Service Platform).
After a careful evaluation, based on the entity of the problem, our technicians will either guide you remotely or assist you on site to restore the system’s operational efficiency.
A detailed technical report of the performed activities is released upon conclusion.

Remote technical support

Thanks to fast and efficient corrective actions, our technical support staff always assures patient and operator safety.
GMM technicians remotely assist you by phone or VPN where possible, following a 3 steps procedure:

  • Identification of the system
  • Opening of the support ticket
  • Diagnosis of the failure and relay to the appropriate expert technician

If the system’s operational efficiency is restored, the support ticket is closed and a technical report is released. If the problem persists, an on-site assistance procedure is activated.

Installation and training

The installation and start-up procedures of all radiological equipment are performed by highly specialized technical staff, responsible for the entire process, from mechanical assembly to electrical wiring and from the system’s configuration to DICOM network connection.
Furthermore, GMM assists the users, guaranteeing an in-depth training course in order to take full advantage of the technological potential of the newly installed system. Upon completion of the course an official certificate is released.
