Surgery

The operating room is the theatre of several surgical activities, ranging from general to vascular, endovascular and neurosurgery procedures.
Mobile C-arms with fluoroscopic imaging are frequently used in the operative setting and they have become crucial for vascular and endovascular applications, such as aortic aneurysm repair, peripheral PTA/stenting intervention and dialysis vascular access.
In neurosurgery applications, namely disc diseases or vertebral fixation treatments, the operator needs the support of real-time high quality X-ray images, with the possibility to perform a fast and precise movement of the detector around the patient.
Due to an increased life expectancy and a wider spread of heart disease, X-ray guided interventional procedures are highly requested also in the cardiology field (positioning of pacemakers, electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablations).
GMM offers a full range of C-arm systems, providing utmost reliability and operational efficiency in this kind of applications.
