Innovative elevating table

The non-floating tabletop is a real asset in the trauma room. Any uncontrolled movement of the table while a fracture or dislocation is being manipulated and aligned is out of question. The total absence of physical barriers allows easy interaction between operator and patient, giving the procedure a more human and less invasive nature.

Auto-positioning

The Auto-positioning function enables many pre-programmed tube support positions, both focused around the generously-sized table and anywhere else within the examination room. Driven by the selected imaging protocol, this effortless and highly efficient positioning automation considerably increases your daily patient throughput capability and reduces user manual handling.

Auto-tracking

Tube-detector tracking provides perfectly synchronized movements between the digital detector and the X-ray tube, while maintaining perfect alignment, even in lateral projections. The large table-top dimensions and the extensive motorized detector coverage in both longitudinal and lateral planes ensure that even tall patients can be covered from head to toe without the need to move them.

Autofocusing Grid™

The patented automatic focalization of the grid allows the execution of examinations with a wide range of focal distances, removing the need for a manual replacement of the grid.
This technological solution guarantees the execution of radiographic acquisitions with optimal focalization and dose control, avoiding the production of images with lower resolution.

Kalos Evolution is combined with state-of-the-art Canon imaging software and Flat Panel Detectors. The most advanced image processing tools, as well as the fully integrated interface with X-ray generator controls, provide different technological solutions ensuring an extraordinary image quality – dose level ratio.

Stitching

The automatic and synchronized movement of X-ray tube and detector allows the reconstruction of long skeletal segments, resulting in a single stitched image with limited movement-related artefacts. Stitching is available both for the horizontal and vertical direction, ensuring different patient’s positions.

Advanced image processing

  • Scatter Correction: to reduce dose by up to 60% on your radiographic examinations. Where a grid physically reduces scatter and thereby increases the image contrast, the software mimics the process virtually.
  • Advanced Edge Enhancement: designed to enhance the visualization of tubes, lines and bone details. Besides the original diagnostic image, additional companion views can be added for a specific diagnostic or clinical purpose.
